Are your pearls real?

Every pearl we use is genuine and natural, sourced from both fresh and seawater, never imitation or plastic. Natural pearls form entirely on their own, without any human intervention, which means each one carries its own truly one-of-a-kind shape, size, and shine. We think that's part of the beauty. A piece made with real pearls will always feel a little different from one to the next, and that's exactly the point.

What's the difference between freshwater and seawater pearls?

Freshwater pearls form in mussels living in lakes and rivers, while seawater pearls form in oysters living in the ocean. Each type has its own character: freshwater pearls tend to come in a wider range of natural colors and shapes, while seawater pearls are often prized for their rounder form and deep luster. We work with both, so you'll find genuine variety across our pieces rather than just one look. Since every pearl forms entirely on its own, no two strands ever turn out quite the same.

Why do my pearls look slightly different from the photos?

Because pearls are grown, not manufactured, each one has its own personality. We hand select the best-matching pearls for every design, but small natural differences in luster, shape, or color are completely normal. If your piece looks a little different from the photo, that's not a flaw. That's just what a real pearl looks like.

Do you offer custom or personalized pieces?

We do, and it's one of our favorite parts of this whole process. Many of our designs can be personalized with charms, a birthstone, or a custom length to fit exactly how you want to wear it. How long does it take to make and ship my order?

Every piece is made by hand, so we like to take our time and get it right. Most orders take a few business days to create before they ship, and personalized pieces may need a little longer.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?

We currently ship within the United States, with shipping costs calculated at checkout based on your order. Once your piece is on its way, you'll get a confirmation email with tracking so you can watch it head your way.

What is your return policy?

If something isn't quite right, we want to make it easy. Unworn, undamaged items can be returned within a set window of delivery, though personalized pieces are final sale since they're made just for you. Reach out anytime and we'll walk you through the next steps.

How do I care for my pearl jewelry?

Pearls like a little routine. Put yours on last, after your perfume, lotion, and hairspray, and take them off first before you wash up or head to bed. A soft, slightly damp cloth is all you need to wipe them down after wearing, and it's best to keep them away from water altogether, including the shower and the pool. When you're not wearing them, store them separately from your other jewelry in a soft pouch, so nothing scratches that natural shine.

Can I wear my pearl jewelry every day?

Absolutely. Natural pearls are surprisingly durable and made for real life, not just special occasions. Just keep in mind the small routine that helps them last: pearls on last, pearls off first, and a soft wipe-down now and then to keep them glowing.
